Around the as the top news after last weekend’s season opener at Oxford Plains?..face it, fans are used to wearing parkas, woolen caps & gloves in mid-april here in Northern new England-what a treat to have temps in the high 60’s and no biting wind on Sunday!


Benji Rowe’s win at the plains was his first top 10 in years at the 3/8th mile about Matt DeBenedetto’s career best & BK Racing’s best ever  6th place finish at Bristol..even Clint Bowyer, expected to raise the level of success at HScott Motorsports during his brief stint there before taking over for Tony Stewart in 17’ at Stewart-Haas, managed his first top 10 of the year after a disappointing start to the season!


Finally, Roger Penske, who’s teams have won a record 16 Indy 500’s & is celebrating the team’s 50th anniversary, will serve as honorary pace car driver in a special commemorative 2017 Camaro for this year’s 100th running of the world’s most famous race!
