Financial Outlook

 

Wallstreet is coming off a relatively flat day of trading with the dow dropping 18 points while the S&P was virtually unchanged and the Nasdaq picked up around 7 points..but oil prices are declining again and this could affect the market..crude opil futures are off by 4%, trading at about $50 a barrel and stock index futures  are following suit moving lower in pre-market activity..more news on oil inventories when the US Energy Information Administration Report comes out at 11am..meanwhile Greece wants a 6 month loan extension from it’s creditors & markets are opening mixed throughout Europe as investors wait to see what response the debt ridden country will receive..looking ahead a busy earnings day with Wal-Mart, Direct TV & Priceline releasing quarterly data prior to the bell with Nordstrom & Intuit coming in at the end of the trading session..and in economic news the US  government will release weekly jobless claims at 8:30am..
