Joey Logano wins Pure Michigan 400

Here are the racing headlines from the weekend..Joey Logano added a new element to the wild card race in the Sprint Cup Chase for the Championship, taking over the lead from Mark Martin when he ran out of gas with 3 laps remaining and holding off Kevin Harvick to win Sunday’s  Pure Michigan 400 from Michigan International Speedway, his first win of the season, thrusting the No. 22 Penske team into contention for the chase..

In other racing action from Michigan James Beuscher passed Kyle Busch to win the Camping World Truck Series National Guard 200..and in Mid-Ohio, another Penske Driver AJ Allmendinger won Saturday’s Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200..

And here in New England, Eddie “The Outlaw” McDonald grabbed the lead from Joey Polewarczyk Jr  on a lap 131 re-start and held off  the Hudson, New Hampshire driver to win the ACT 150 from Beechridge Motor Speedway on Saturday night..
