Kyle Busch …the Joe Gibbs star!

There isn’t much more to say about Kyle Busch..the Joe Gibbs star swept the Nascar National Series races for the second consecutive weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, first winning Friday’s Xfinity O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 and following that up with a tremendous start on a final restart with 33 laps remaining to win Saturday night’s Sprint Cup Duck Commander 500..

 

It was Busch’s record 80th Career Xfinity Series win & 36th Cup victory and second straight virtually assuring the No. 18 a chance to defend his Sprint Cup Championship..Dale Jr. finished second followed by Joey Logano, Jimmie Johnson & rookie Chase Elliott..

 

And Sunday from Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, New York’s Tommy Solomito ran away with the 42 Annual Ice breaker, securing his first career Nascar Whelen Modified victory..& it was also a first time win for  Scarborough, Maine native Garrett Hall, winning the Pro All Star Series 75 lap season opener…
