Today’s Race Report

Even though Nascar, Verizon Indy Car & Formula 1 were off this past weekend taking their normal Easter hiatus, there was one series that was in action..

 

Three time Pro All Star Series Super Late Model Champion Ben Rowe led 114 laps en route to a dominating win in Saturday’s 11th Annual Easter Bunny 150 from Hickory Motor Speedway in North Carolina..and with the win it guarantees the Turner Maine native a starting spot in this year’s prestigious Oxford 250!

 

Speaking of touring series, the American Canadian Tour is set to begin an ambitious schedule for 2016, kicking off  its silver anniversary season on Sunday, April 10th with the traditional Governor’s Cup 150..

 

And in other racing news,  the Haas Formula 1 team’s 6th place finish in the first race for an American team in nearly 30 years at the Australian Grand Prix created lots of attention..& America is seen as a key market for Formula 1 with a second race, likely on the west coast, rumored to be in the works..
