In the closest finish in Daytona 500 history, Denny Hamlin pushed his No. 11 Fed Ex Toyota ahead of Martin Truex Jr. at the finish line by 10-hundreds of a second, a length of just 6 inches to win Nascar’s “super bowl” of racing, Hamlin’s first 500 victory, and it was Toyota’s first ever win in Nascar’s premier event and the first for Joe Gibbs racing in 23 years!
